Fifty-Three villagers and friends boogied on down to The Green Tree for an evening of nostalgia and fun. A great evening with musician, Eddie Grant and a 70s themed meal of Chicken and Chips in the Basket, and Black Forest Gateau....washed down, perhaps, with Mateus Rose or Blue Nun wine. Happy days with 70's music and some great costumes. Thanks to Brian and Carol from The Green Tree for hosting the event. |

A hugely succesful evening was held in Hackforth Village Hall. A huge thanks to the actors from the Gainford Players who provided the information to help us to decide "whodunit'!!!
A superb three course meal was served. David, Ian and the team at the village hall, preparing the starter and main course, and the committee members providing some lovely deserts. Great fun was had by all. |

The monthly Saturday Coffee Morning also saw the official launch of the new Patrick Brompton village website. The website team of Linda Cork, Andrew Bull, Mike Catterick, Karl Brown, and Grahame Shepherd introduced the content to those attending.
Those attending were also given information about the new film nights, which will start in May. They were given an opportunity to vote for the types of film they would like to see. The coffee morning was again, well attended and enjoyed by all. Thanks are given to the coffee morning team who provided fine coffee, tea and lovely cakes. |
