Welcome to
Patrick Brompton

Patrick Brompton is a village in North Yorkshire. It  lies to the west of the A1 motorway and is situated approximately four miles from Bedale on the A684.
The village was first mentioned in the Domesday Book, completed in 1086. The village is ideally situated to access both Wensleydale and Swaledale, two of Yorkshire's most attractive dales.
We hope you will enjoy browsing around our website and that the information it contains will be both helpful and interesting.

Tour Of Britain Men's Cycle Race
The race will be passing the crossroads en route to Newton Le Willows and on to the finish of the stage at Leyburn. The approximate time when the race will pass the crossroads is between 2.30pm and 3.15pm with the stage scheduled to finish at Leyburn at about 3.30pm. A rolling road closure will be in place along the route

The village coffee morning will celebrate the occasion by having a themed event at the usual time of 10.30am till 12noon.

Supported by funding from the Mayor of the Combined Authority of York and North Yorkshire, the Parish Council and the Patrick Brompton Community Events Committee will be displaying bunting etc at the
crossroads and at the Old Schoolroom.
