Patrick Brompton is a village in the Richmondshire District of North Yorkshire. It is situated approximately four miles from Bedale on the A684. The village was first mentioned in the Domesday Book, completed in 1086.

PATRICK BROMPTON PARISH COUNCIL CO-OPTION VACANCYFollowing the resignation by David Chapman, a vacancy has become available to join the current elected members on Patrick Brompton Parish Council. Application by self-nomination is invited from those interested in joining. Applicants should be able to demonstrate the follow skills: •Have good communication skills •Able to problem solve •Demonstrate analytical thinking •Be a team player •Willing to take an active roll for the community the Parish Council serves Applicants will be informally interviewed by members of the Parish Council and will be selected by vote should there be more than one applicant for the position. Educational Support Grants available to the young people in the village.
The Atkinson and Clarke Educational Foundation is designed to promote educational opportunities for young people living in the Parish Council areas of Patrick Brompton and Newton-Le Willows.
Trustees are responsible for giving financial assistance for educational purposes.
Applications are invited from children and young people for grant support for educational activities.
The next deadline for grant applications is 20th January 2024
All applications are treated in the strictest confidence.
